Pansies & Violas; the harbingers of Spring.

The cold winter days are fleeting. The sun feels warmer. The calendar is turning a page from March to April.

Along with more sunshine and warmer temperatures, we start to notice the happy little faces of spring time flowers.

Pansies and violas are well known early spring favorites that can withstand cold nights and a few frosty flakes.

Being native to Europe and Asia, and part of the violet family, these colorful blooms are the signature flowers of the warmer, longer days ahead!

Spring always feels like a fresh start. Seeing all the different pansies and violas give me hope (and motivation) that summer is on the way!
